Contemplation Cards: The Power of Beliefs

This beautifully crafted set of belief cards is the perfect tool to help people understand their hidden beliefs, and the effect these have on their sense of self-worth and their ability to shape their own future.

A series of 75 picture cards show both male and female figures in different contexts and situations, encouraging exploration, through the medium of metaphor of self-image, sense of self in the world and the expression of complex feelings.

While the belief completion cards offer 48 different ways to prompt a belief statement, such as ‘I can’t...’, ‘I love...’, ‘I mustn’t...’,  ‘Being wrong...’ , and ‘I have the power to...’

For the therapist, coach, counsellor or professional mental health worker, these cards offer a creative, engaging, powerful way to reveal the maze of beliefs that underpin your client’s sense of possibility in the world.

They are equally useful to the individual on a journey of self-discovery.

How To Use These Power of Belief Cards

You can use these great cards to

• Explore limiting and empowering beliefs, working to displace inappropriate beliefs and strengthen or generate new empowering beliefs
• Explore how beliefs have emerged and evolved over time, helping to identify those that have outlived their usefulness
• Help identify some of the contradictory beliefs, that keep people oscillating in states of indecision or perplexity at their own behaviour.

These cards were created by Marika Saard. Marika, who is based in Estonia, was previously a social worker and is now a certified supervisor and coach and won an award for these cards from the Estonian Supervision and Coaching Association in 2018.
